Location: Near Whittlesea. Nice selection of farm-fresh produce. Some grown by this farmer (cherries, pears, peaches I think) while the rest came from nearby farmers. Their farm and orchard was apparently burnt to the ground in the 2010 bushfires so they replanted from scratch and rebuilt the farmhouse. Could you imagine going through that? This is one of the reasons why I like to support local farmers ... many are true-blue battlers doing it tough.
Fresh cherries, strawberries and other fruit and veg. Helpful, family business, has to be a big plus!
Great range and prices. A pleasure to shop. Also I have the option to buy seconds very cheaply. A mix of market and their own produce. To give the best value.

I should have shares in this place, I'm here so often. The Harvest Cafe has delicious food and friendly service. The haloumi fritters on the breakfast board are made of dreams. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
